I love esty.com. It’s like an online craft fair/garage sale/antique shop. I love how handmade and vintage it is. I love how personal each item is, and how exciting it is to uncover each beautiful treasure…each great bargain.
I have loved shopping on etsy for years, and now I have finally opened up my own shop: Erin’s Funky Junk. I gotta tell ya, I’m a little nervous about whether or not I’ll break even. And I’m exhausted after listing my first dozen items. But, I hope to get the hang of it, and I also hope to be able to turn a reasonable profit one of these days. Etsy has new success stories posted to their homepage all the time of sellers that quit their “day job” in order to pour more energy into their etsy shop. I know etsy works…let’s hope I’m savvy enough to step up to the plate and hit the ball out of the park.
Feel free to check out my shop, and let me know what you think in the comments below! Right now I have 2 focuses:
Vintage Finds: cool stuff I think you might want
Trash or Treasure: broken, forgotten or incomplete things nobody wanted (all listings are $1 +shipping)
