Amur Leopard, Endangered Animal Series – Original Painting

Description

Joy is its own kind of resistance. That is what my Survival Series is about.

This artwork features the Amur Leopard framed by Guzmania Lepidota. The anthropomorphic leopard holds a sign that reads, “Be protective. There is no justice.”

Each animal and plant depicted is an endangered species, and the subjects were inspired by queer people who have been lost to violence. The animals hold up signs with messages meant to speak to our difficult cultural moment while providing hope for a way to live with mindfulness in the face of our difficult circumstances.

This listing is for a completed, one-of-a-kind piece of original artwork by Erin Darling of Darling Illustrations. Art is watercolor and ink on 8×10 inch hotpress watercolor paper.

All original artwork is signed in ink on the front as well as labeled in pencil on the back. Please note that colors on your monitor may differ from colors in person.

If you’re purchasing this as a gift, please leave any gift note instructions in the “note to seller” section at checkout.

SHIPPING DETAILS:

I package final artwork and note cards in a protective cellophane sleeve. Art will also include a backing board. I ship art and note cards in a sturdy cardboard mailer. If you purchase multiple works, please note I will package them all in a single sleeve.

Orders ship First Class via USPS.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

We are not responsible for any VAT (value added tax) by Customs on overseas shipping. This may occur in some counties. Please check with your customs department in advance to assess how much this will cost you at the time of delivery.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:

To receive a refund or exchange, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your item. Returns & Exchanges will only be accepted in original condition.

Customer is responsible for return shipping. No shipping costs will be refunded. A refund or exchange will be processed after the item/s are returned in original condition. Refunds will be for purchase price only. Custom Orders & Personalized items are not refundable or exchangeable.

Props such as figurines, frames or twine are not included. Remember colors on your screen may vary slightly from the actual color of your print.
