After years of witnessing friends sharing about their breastfeeding struggles, I started The Pump Room Nook in 2013 to encourage and inspire women who nurse, pump, breastfeed and bottlefeed. My mission is to provide a mental and emotional “Safe Place” for nursing moms. On this website, you will find artwork, poetry, inspirational words, and breastfeeding stories.

Penelope Trunk is one of my favorite bloggers. Her writings about homeschooling and unschooling challenge the way I think about the Big Picture of education. Here you will not find a typical homeschooling blog riddled with printables and lesson suggestions. Rather, Penelope addresses meaningful, everyday issues in a way that helps me believe in homeschooling on a fundamental level.

Arrow Children is a blogging project that I administrate and to which I regularly contribute, along with half a dozen other Christian parents. The blog’s purpose and name were inspired by Psalm 127:3-5: “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, […] Like arrows in the hand of a warrior. […] Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!”
Our mission is to focus on raising children in the gospel of Christ. We share photos and stories of encouragement, heartbreak, triumph and real life. Arrow Children is a space where we share our lives as we train our children, as we are learning alongside them, and as we are being sanctified through them.
